    Danni Maynard

    Ms. Danni Maynard joined Kelsick Wilkin & Ferdinand in August 2017 after completing her studies earlier that year.

    She received her formal education in St. Kitts having obtained an Associate Degree in Humanities from the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College. In 2015, Danni attended The University of the West Indies where she obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree with Honours. She continued her studies at the Norman Manley Law School in Jamaica where she was awarded the Legal Education Certificate of Merit. In November 2017, she was admitted to practice law in St. Christopher and Nevis.

    In her pursuit of Law, Danni was awarded a number of academic prizes and awards, namely, The Hon. Miss Justice Madge Morgan Memorial Prize for her overall preparation, interest and team work in Trial Advocacy, The Clarence Fitzroy Bryant Award for Excellence in Academic Performance, Extra-curricular Activities and Exemplary Conduct, The St. Christopher Heritage Society Award for the best results in CAPE History and The Kelsick, Wilkin & Ferdinand Award for Best results in CAPE Law.

    Danni has held a number of posts in various clubs and associations, including, Vice-President of the St. Kitts-Nevis Student Association and Sports & Games Committee Chairperson while at the University of the West Indies and Vice-President of the Norman Manley Law School Debating Society. She is an avid sportswoman having played Lawn Tennis and Table Tennis and represented St. Kitts and Nevis in those disciplines at regional events. She also represented the University of the West Indies at the bi-annual Intercampus Games in 2013 and 2015 as one of the top female tennis players.

    Danni has a keen interest in several areas of law including Commercial and Banking Law, Civil Litigation - particularly areas such as Personal Injury and Employment Law. Furthermore, she is interested in Conveyancing, Probate, Trust and Estate Planning.

    Benjamin P. Henry

    Benjamin P. Henry

    Benjamin joined the firm in December 2020 after graduating from The Hugh Wooding Law School that year. Benjamin was born and received his early education in Barbados, having attended the prestigious Harrison College. At Harrison College, in 2015, he founded the Society of Wider Thinking, an organization focused on student engagement with regional and international issues, an organization that still exists today.

    He read for his Bachelor of Laws Degree at the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus and Kingston University in London, the latter in a final year student exchange program. Whilst at Cave Hill, Benjamin won the Frederick Kelsick QC Prize for best performance in Revenue Law and best written submissions in the Clarke Gittens Farmer Mooting Competition.

    After graduating with honours from UWI Cave Hill, Benjamin then attended The Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad. There, he regularly participated in extracurricular activities, winning the school’s BBC style debate competition and was a finalist for school representative at the Lex Caribbean Client Interviewing Competition.

    Benjamin was called to the Bar in Barbados in November 2020 and the St Christopher and Nevis Circuits of the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court in January 2021. Benjamin’s practice has begun in the areas of civil litigation, contract law, banking and debt collection. He is also keen in the areas of real estate, revenue, insurance, corporate, succession and administrative law.

    Benjamin believes in the values instilled by sports and physical activities and has thus participated in and represented Harrison College in track and field and Barbados in judo, the latter in which he holds the rank of blue belt.
